A quick and easy tasty supper that the family will love – and if they like spicy, simply ramp up the heat!
INGREDIENTS
400g pack Smörgåsbord Original Swedish Meatballs
400g jar of Tomato or Tomato & Chilli sauce
Red pesto
125g Mozzarella
4 Burger Buns
1tbs Olive Oil
METHOD
- In a frying pan heat the olive oil. Add the meatballs and brown. Pour in the jar of sauce and cook through.
- Slice the mozzarella and lay over the top. Cover for a few minutes until it melts into the sauce. This will add flavour and thicken the sauce.
- Cut the buns in half, spread with the red pesto (as much or as little as you like). Divide up the meatballs between the buns (or keep some back for seconds). Add a little of the sauce, and serve the rest in a dish for everyone to dip into.
